Humor?

I would like a page of cartoons, jokes, etc. in issue 2. Anyone got anything?

I've been working on a comic strip, but so far nothing has jelled.

How long can I have?

Really need this stuff ASAP, but my guess is at least a few days. This issue is HUGE (not sure we will fit within the 88 page limit for lulu saddle-stitch!) - if it were the size of issue 1 we would be done already. I'd say go for it and just do your best, the worst thing that happens is we put it in issue 3 instead.

Coffee has submitted a nice one-column comic that fills half the page. Anyone else got anything small, quarter-page humor panels or anything like that? I'll also take jokes, amusing gaming stories, whatever people got. Thanks Coffee!

Dying for more of the funny in issue 3. Goofy comics especially (either one-panel or for an ongoing series) would be very much appreciated...thanks!

If you know anyone on-line who's doing an old-school gaming comic who you think might like to have her/his work shown in FO!, I'm open to suggestions on that as well, or just ask that person to come on by!

Yes, the humor section is the centerfold (pgs. 44-5), and I'm still formatting the issue in the teens. We are so overloaded for this issue it's sick, but I think the humor stuff is important.

IIRC, he's visited the board a time or two -- and artists seem to create as sharks swim!

I might be able to come up with a "Murphy's Uncle's Brother's Rules" kind of thing ... I'm thinking of an old (and in context serious) "A Knockout Might Do Him Good" post regarding Classic Traveller at Knights & Knaves. That's pretty hit or miss, though, so it might be best to write up several (and subject them to judgment) before attempting to illustrate one. My "By the Book" post here was fatally straight-faced drollery ...

Cool little comics like that are great, Dwayanu, I'm sure whatever you come up with will work. I've asked Greg to submit before, we'd love comics, articles, whatever from him - I hope he does someday. Maybe I'll email him again....

Would it be appropriate to contrast old rules with those in 4E? That's a potentially very funny theme; I reckon I can think right away of several "punchlines."
