For your amusement, I present the table for the game this Saturday; it's a little trip to one of the many Lost Temples that Phil left lying about the place. Several different groups of adventurers will explore the place, in the hopes of finding the Fabled Vasty Treasure Of Khan Ambereen rumored to lie beneath one of the Forbidden Temples... I hope to attach a photo; otherwise, have a look at my little blog... - chirine

* sigh * And when the players are deep in the chicken noodle, guess whose legion gets ordered to get them out...

The game today went very well; there were two parties of explorers, sent by the Temples of Karakan and Dilinala, each with about eight warriors and a magic-user; their job was to explore the lost Temple Complex, find out if the place was deserted or not, and come back and report. All in all, pretty typical fare for player-characters in Tekumel. The players could enter the board from any side, and the rules were basic EPT. Both parties came on-scene, and started climbing the nearest temples to see what was at the top. The little shrines were empty and deserted, so the PCs started looking for secret entrances and the like. After a number of dice rolls, some were indeed found, and the shafts to the lower levels discovered. Nobody had brought ropes, so the magic-users did a 'Fly' spell each, and hovered their way down the dark and musty shafts. Things went awry in short order, as the inhabitants of the complex took exception to the trespassers; casualties amongst the explorers were light, but the parties bandaged up their wounds and retired to get supplies, lanterns, and ropes for their descent into the Underworld portion of the complex. This was the first session of our first 'micro-campaign', where we'll have a series of connected game sessions for a while, and then move on to a different 'story arc'. I now have two weeks to build the Underworld that lies beneath this surface table; luckily, I already have the serpentine Qol - the artificial construct life-form guardians from the Temple of Ksarul - already painted up... I have more photos from the game up on my Photobucket page: s1283.photobucket.com/user/chirinebakal/library/As a teaster, though, here's this: - chirine
