Nice work harmonizing supplement II with Aif. (I'll cross post this on DF).
Arneson himself never used all those rules together like that, but it would, I think be an improvement to the AiF system to play that way.
Couple thoughts; originally in Blackmoor there was no dexterity score. Gygax appears to have invented that one. Although it is true that HP originally were a single fixed number, that changed very quickly so that we have for example, the HP of a warrior being 7 at flunky, 14 at Hero and 28 at Superhero by 1972 (courtesy of Greg Svenson's notes).
So the AiF HP method was something developed for AiF, not early Blackmoor. Indeed , much of the mechanics of AiF were original to the game, albeit often developed or extended from their earlier material. The hit location system is a good example of this. The first iteration in Supp II took so much heat that Dave abandoned it, but retained the idea of body types and critical hits for AiF.
You should definetly look through our Blackmoor combat thread.
Anyway, great piece of work overall. Exalt for that.
