The chimera bites off the cyclops head, while taking a bite from the persistent and annoying spider. It is one on one now, and the ridiculously overpowered and superlucky chimera makes short work of the spider.
The chimera wins, and is freed to the wilds!
MECHANICS Chimera @spider <1d20>=4 +9 = 13 MISS Chimera @cyclops <1d20>=15 +9 = 19 HITS for <2d6>=12 DAMAGE, killing him Spider @chimera <1d20>=13 +7 = 20 HIT for <2d6>=4 DAMAGE Chimera regenerates 2 hit points
Chimera @spider <1d20>=17 +9 = 26 HIT for <2d6>=7 DAMAGE, killing him
Yes, I probably should have chosen monsters better instead of the "throw them on the wall and see what sticks" approach. The spider and the basilisk seemed unique enough, needed more of that type of thing
Currently running OD&D Verbosh Campaign (I can usually squeeze in an extra player)
I had a good time, but it would have been better if the Chimera was not so much stronger. Regen and multiple attacks were overpowering. I liked the teamwork at the end, was really the only way to defeat such a beast.
