Next two years will be interesting, because October 1st will each fall on a weekend, and there will be more realistic options.

For me, on a week day, impossible to take time off for gaming: Yesterday, though, my pals and I played Eldritch Horror, plus a good bound of Munchkin, which won, slaying a teddy bear.

Like, forgive me if this sounds somewhat self-obsessed, but - I'm a relatively young man, still. And I have my own small agency, and if I want to take life seriously, I have to pull in those very hard 90-hour work weeks, hell or high water. Perhaps I wouldn't have been sentimental enough to go kick some Cthulhu yesterday evening if it hadn't been for the date. So, thanks, guys! Let's make this a thing for every year, shall we?

Dave was quite possibly the sweetest, gentlest person I ever met.

Until he was on the other side from you in a game. Then he'd tear your heart out, eat it, and laugh maniacally the entire time.
