Sorry for the delay gentlemen: (work and school got a little busy)
Round one rolls:
Init hornets: 1
Init party: 6
Movement: two hornets move casually forward to the scout. The torch and mini bonfire is lit
a. Kynor dagger fly roll D20: 19 hit, rolling damage: 1d4= 1 point of damage b. airik throwing rocks roll d20-5 range: 12 missing c.) Father mayhem uses sling: rolling d20= 15, hitting, since pBP is tough to determine targets I will let the stone hit the same hornet, damage: 4 d.) amedor finds a good size rock and chucks it with all of hit might and comes up a bit short
melee: The remaining hornet moves to attack Damrod and kynor
a.) Damrod goes first: attack with spear rolls a 14 and hits: damage rolling 5 points of damage b. kynor attack with dagger: rolls a 10 and misses
End of round summary: Both missle shots and the spear attack down both hornets. The remaining six hornets are by the nest and are noticing the fire and sense the death of two of their friends. The party has a controlled fire going.
Making some side rolls; Damrod and Willy realize that if the party uses the smoke and fire should keep the hornets at bay and can probably skirt the edge of the clearing and continue north. If the party wants to go in the side path they will have to deal with the hornets

(Ooc kenmeister his sling shot does 1d4 damage which I rolled a 4 and your 15 rolls a hit.)
Your group avoids the hornets as the brushfire and smoke manages to prevent the hornets from coming closer. Moving on you follow the path for another mile. Then it turns into another clearing . the berries are a little sour but will do and the mushrooms when cooked will be nice.
