I'm curious, just what are the stats for a +4 Plasma Blaster?

I'm only half joking when I ask.

Well, it's like a regular Plasma Blaster (q.v.) but it's +4 to hit...

That's right. There's a lot of dispute about whether you get the bonus to damage as well though, based on unclear and conflicting rule-texts. In my world you don't, but other GMs do it differently.

Ah, that clears it up, thank you. ;D

Personally, I'd let it do +4 to damage too, but that's just me.

So, is it back to D&D, or is it still largely Tekumel, which has become very popular in the mag?

There's a mix of stuff in every issue. No Tekumel in #8, actually.

#7 was about 25% Tekumel which is by far the most we've done, which made sense since that was the Barker dedication issue.

I just received my copy of #8 today. It looks very good, once again.

After a quick glance, I gotta say the Mark Allen artwork (esp. the barbed devil) in the Badlands article is simply awesome.
