I want to get a list of all the OD&D supplements that introduce a player character class choice. Here's what I know:
Men & Magic: - fighing man - magic-user - cleric
Greyhawk - paladin - thief
Blackmoor - monk - assassin
Eldritch Wizardry - druid
Best of Dragon vol I - illusionist - bard - ranger
Dungeoneer #16 - warlock
Carcosa - sorcerer
That's as much as I know. What else is out there? I think there's a witch in early dragons too, but I think it's an npc class.

Lots of possibilities from The Dragon:
Alchemist (#2)
Healer (#3) Scribe (#3) Samurai (#3) Berserker (#3) Idiot (#3) - mostly for humorous games Jester (#3) - mostly for humorous games
Ninja (#16) - NPC class, i.e. supposedly not for players to abuse
Witches (#20)
...it's also possible to include Greg Rihn's Lycanthrope sub-class from The Dragon #14.
All of these are "unofficial" but that shouldn't be taken to mean they are unplayable.

My copy of Best of Dragon II has most of those, and I think they are all npc classes because n one provide an xp chart. Edit: and healers do not even have a spell progression chart! I guess I'd use the cleric one, but it would be nice if it said.

Technically, illusionists, rangers and bards are from The Strategic Review, not Best of the Dragon. The Strategic Review - Volume 1, Number 2 - Ranger (Fighting Man) The Strategic Review - Volume 1, Number 4 - Illusionist (Magic-user) The Strategic Review - Volume 2, Number 1 - Bard

Would you count Arduin? It has several extra classes. You'd have to be the judge of that because I've never seen any Arduin manuals, only heard of them. And I second Fin's call to find out more about Liaisons Dangereuses.

You'd have to be the judge of that because I've never seen any Arduin manuals, only heard of them. I only have the first one, which has a few extra classes: Trader Psychic Barbarian Rune Weaver (apparently magic-users with the same spells assigned in a different way) Techno (technology users) Medicine Man (another wizard class) Witch Hunter The one I find most interesting is the Techno, and it's a bit under-explained. If you're interested let me know and I'll send you a copy.

And I second Fin's call to find out more about Liaisons Dangereuses. It was a Dippyzine Len Lakofka published in the 1970s. PDF copies are now available. I listed some of the issues with material by Gary and/or Len in a blog post with links to the issue PDFs: 1976 OD&D Articles by Gary Gygax and Len Lakofka Available

I really like the Dwarf Craftsman, it's almost feels like a fourth ed class that snuck into OD&D (Arcane/ Martial Controller?)
I've never heard of the Dungeoneer Warlock, however. Anyone care to share some basic details?

About time someone asked about it! I was beginning to wonder if everybody else already knew about this class. It's only ... THE COOLEST CLASS EVER! ;D. Seriously, Geoffrey will love it. It's a demon summoning, poison loving, 7-level spell-casting magic-user subclass that heavily uses Eldritch Wizardry. The issue also contains the Mystic, a class for AD&D. I can make photocopies and send them off to people via snail mail, or I could scan it in and send the jpegs of each page.

Okay, piper's copy is going out in the mail today. Anyone else who wants a copy, send me your snail mail address in a pm. I have a copy of the class here at work, and it only costs me one stamp to send it to you.

Just an update, I had someone ask for me a copy of the Warlock, I got the envelope ready and put the stamps on it, then they said (mysteriously) that someone else sent it to them. So if you want a Warlock and you live in the US, pm me and I'll have it out to you. I'd rather not waste the stamps!

From White Dwarf there's the Barbarian (issue 4, errata in issue 12) and the Houri (issue 13). Which information I got from the Colossal Compilation of Classes: www.purpleworm.org/forums/viewtopic.php?p=1111These classes were also included in the first Best of White Dwarf Articles compilation.
