I was kind of thinking we may start seeing some other items become available as POD in the near future. I havn't heard any thing to that affect. Then again, I didn't hear that T4 was going to be put out as POD until it happened, either.
Something I have heard is that there is a "basic" or "starter" set in the works by 13Mann. I think it will be based on the Mongoose Trav rules, but it will be stripped down for introducing new players to the game.

My copy of the Traveller Book came in the mail today. I have to say, this is a really nice POD book. It comes with the classic black cover with the red line through it. There are splashes of red within the book too. The print is clear. For an 8.5 x 11 hardback book that contains all the rules from books 1-3 plus a couple adventures, I think it's a good value. Definately worth picking up if you were giving it any thought.

Thanks for the information. I haven't played since the 80s and was trying to get started again. I think back then I had the three basic books and the intro book zero. I wasn't a referee so I'm not sure what adventures our referee (who was also my brother) had. This looks like a good starter set to get me back in the swing of things.

Does OneBookShelf do PoD saddle-stitched booklets? I bet Classic Traveller LBBs would fly off the presses if FFE wanted to go that route ...
