Hey, Simon!
Just paid the (very reasonable!) $2.50 for the PDF, and have an initial question and comment:
Question: The purchase included two PDF copies of the game, but I don't see any differences between the two; are there any, or is one an unitentional artifact?
Comment: I GREATLY appreciate a bookmarked PDF! FYI, in the current document, some of the bookmarks are off by a page. Off the top of my head, Combat and the NPC Royal Redeemer class for sure.

I didn't know there were two downloads - there shouldn't be! One must be as you say an unintentional artifact ((I like that). Thanks for informing me about the bookmarks - I'll look into it.

A couple additional monsters. Well that's good because there are 8 new monsters.

So, if I combined Crimson Blades and Crimson Lords and added some stuff, what would you want to see added?

I thought Crimson Lords was a simple renaming of Crimson Blades (whichever came first). So what is the difference between Crimson Blades and Crimson Lords? Or is Crimson Lords just Crimson Blades with all the add-ons (the new classes and monsters being noted on this thread)?

Crimson Lords is a brilliant supplement to Crimson Blades and you need to buy it immediately! It has battle rules, more character classes, more stuff on demons, loads of adventure ideas, more monsters etc etc etc

Rossik's avatar = BEST avatar. What does this have to do with Crimson Blades? Simple, all games of Crimson Blades/Lords require the use of six-sided Moo!-dice, as noted on page 437.

How about a boxed set of four A5 books?
The books will be
1) Crimson Blades: Characters & Combat
2) Crimson Lords: Strongholds & Sieges
3) Crimson Scrolls: Mysteries & Monsters
4) Crimson Lands: Domains & Dangers
Let's say it includes a map and character sheet. What else should be in the box?

What else should be in the box? SHUT UP AND TAKE MY... *muffled voice*Although, I don't see them as essential for inclusion, seeing how d6s are extremely common, but folks have become spoiled with getting dice with their boxed sets. A DM screen would be nice. If a full-sized one is not a option (as with a number of indi-games), then maybe a reference sheet in the form of a folded up pamphlet that can serve as a handheld DM screen/cheat sheet? Its an unorthodox item outside wargaming, but they are really useful when full-size DM screens are not available, or too much of an obstruction at the game table.

What does this have to do with Crimson Blades? No problem, Simon. My apologies. I was not aware that you wish strict no-OOT for your section of the board. That said, I like CBS&S; honestly, didn't like Lemuria much, but this one, I find really appealing. A box set, especially one with a gazetteer that places the game within a distinctive enough world setting, I would be happy to buy. - My main beef with many of the D&D derivates is that the settings are usually pretty replacable, or underdeveloped by today's standards. I am more interested into in-depth looks in the outward style of games, and so, a longer setting writeup would be surely a reason for me to purchase.
