I have the DD module put out by Troll Lords and was wanting to use it for OD&D, any suggestions on conversion? especially the demon to OD&D. I'm not sure how much they've changed from yours, I'm sure quite a bit.

Darn. I was hoping this thread would be covering human sacrifices and macabre druidic rituals.

Black Blade will be selling copies of Dark Druids at GaryCon next week (as well as Guy's F1 and F3 modules).
We will also have copies of Rob's Bottle City and Cairn of the Skeleton King available (and probably Tower of Blood as well).

6 Months later I've finally read this, twice. I must say it very good, production value was/is high and it looks like a blast to run. I'm going to to start peeping it for next summer. The big question is....
Anyone done any work on the Dark Quest path. Appendix A gives a good outline of "Claws in the Dark" and hints about what is beyond.

While discussing the adventure earlier this summer with Guy and Jon, I realized that one of Rob's manuscripts that I bought in 2006 or so is the final chapter in the series, Vale of the Titans. So far as I know the other adventures weren't developed at all, but you'd have to ask Rob to confirm that.

Here is another gem I found while thinking about how I was going to run this one. Poor Bombadil ;-)

Haha nice! I like how unconcerned Bombadil was about his own castle getting sacked!

I thought I remember the poison touch of the Coat killing one of the PCs on that adventure. Also Rob ended up giving Jim a roll to see if it was all just a dream, and Jim made the roll.

Yeah, Jim's PC was poisoned, I found this old run down by Rob: Here it is:
1) They find altar with 'Coat on it. 2) Taking it summons Y 3) They flee with demons and druids in pursuit 4)B uses carpet to rise above the catwalks built upon the underground lake (this in the original) 5)Decides to put carpet in circling pattern and suit up w/ the "coat 6) Ill side effect = poisonous touch, B misses save and dies 7) Skip's PC decides to remove coat and jump from carpet to a catwalk, which he makes through several dex checks with minuses for being burdened (with the coat) 8) S flees to entry tunnel, but the delay has allowed the Vrocks to cath up, one catches him at the tunnel mouth as he enters the outside. telekenising him into the air and then, from a great height, dropping hi. Splat! End of S as well 9) RJK seeds thought in B's and J's minds that the coat was destroyed in the fall ("It shatters as well into thousands of rings and ppieces), but it was actually retreived by the Druid's HP, as the Vrocks feared touching it. 10) B is allowed to roll a six-sided die to see if the addy was all a dream (as explained in the Dragon write-up, not sure if that one was published in Up On a Soap Box), and he rolled a 2 and was saved by the God of "Luck".
So, in essence, the d**n thing never took place, or was this an alternate ending? Hmmmm.
