Cali, due to RF I'm not sure to me able to finish this before submission dead-line. I don't want to rush it and waste the opportunity for a good treatment of OD&D robots. So I think that maybe this will be submitted to issue 3. I hope this does not bring you trouble. I'm seeing that issue 2 is already many excellent contributions so far. I'm sorry

Thanks for telling me, Zulg. This is going to be great when you get it done and there will definitely be room for it in issue 3. You do still have a week so if you get inspired and finish it in a big burst just send it next Monday. But otherwise, we'll be here waiting!

Do you already have enough material to fill the 48 projected pages? If you don't I'll try to get the article done.

I have enough material for a great issue. I have no idea what the page count will be, somewhere between 36 and 64 I think. Do it on your own pace.

The thing is, before publishing it, I would like some people to review it for some feedback and then make at least one revision before getting the final.
I'll try to get it, but I can't promise.

Zulgyan, you haven't piped up here to say whether or not you were still working on this, but if you're still taking suggestions....
Someone mentioned rockets for flight, but I didn't notice any other suggestions for means of locomotion:
-tank treads or huge metal shod wheels -spider legs or Dr Octopus style tentacles -stilts or telescoping legs -hovercraft or anti-grav -spring boots (allowing for huge jumps) -roller-droid (i.e. robot is spherical with retractable appendages) -serpentine -centipedal, inchworm or slinky! -timeslip or teletransport (something like blink dogs?) -locomotion via locomotive (i.e. robot train! perhaps with a crew of robot coolies laying track ahead of it. I'm picturing it like the cover to Motorhead's Orgasmatron)
Mix & match at will. Roller-droid + anti-grav = beholder bot!
