As I've mentioned elsewhere, BLUEHOLME™ Compleat Rules will feature new, original artwork. I haven't yet decided on funding options for the interior art, which will be black & white line art both to keep printing costs down and to maintain the old-school feel appropriate to the OSR and the public domain art used in the free BLUEHOLME™ Prentice products.

You might notice a few homages in there, or Easter eggs, or whatever they call them these days. Especially when the book is done and you can really see the detail. I'm not giving any hints away, though!
I am thankful to all the original creators of this hobby and to all the work done by it's current guardians. Every time we play, we get to visit a different world, explore it, marvel at it's beauty....and take treasure from the bad guys!
Besides the really obvious style of the rendering of the dragon and the MU, there's also the fact that the female thief is pretty clearly based on the illustration of Duchess and Candella from B3 (specifically Candella, since she's the one wearing the pearl necklace). Though I can't tell due to the small resolution, I'll assume one of the stalagmites resembles some tower from some iconic bit of art... Blackmoor cover?... *shrug*
