I have changed my mind over the weekend.
I will quickly layout the DD booklets with Mark's art instead of having a full-sized version. This means I will have to break up the three no-art booklets back up into five booklets. I already had three of the five finished before Simon did the major edit/rewrite, so it should not take that long and I can post samples as they are finished.
These five, illustrated booklets will become the 6x9 single-volume soft and hard cover versions of Delving Deeper.
That means I will also add back in the booklet that shows one how to play Delving Deeper with S&W:WhiteBox characters and then another booklet, Perilous Mazes that will let one play Delving Deeper in a very Holmes-like way.
I will also convert the four add-on Delving Deeper player's guides I just started offering into four player's guides and two spells booklets.
I will get the names of each booklet back up on the BHP website on Tuesday.
So, should we make the card stock covers for these five different booklets, different colors?

The Boxed Sets will contain these Illustrated booklets:
Forging a Hero (Player's Guide)
Codex of the Divine and the Arcane (Spells)
Index of the Fiendish and Malign (Monsters)
Vault of Treasures (Treasure & Magic Items)
Delving Deeper and Blazing New Trails (Referee's Guide)
Alchemical Synergy (S&W:WhiteBox Characters in Delving Deeper)
Perilous Mazes (How to play Delving Deeper in a very Holmes-like way)
A pad of 25 digest character sheets, Robert Conley’s, Blackmarsh Campaign Setting and a set of 9 dice (3d6, 2d10, 1d20, 1d12, 1d8, 1d4)

I think this is great! I don't think that the covers need to be different colors...but I may be in the minority here. I would like them to be buff or tan, something that looks similar to the Arduin Covers if you know what I mean. I am just offering my opinion since you asked.

Same color covers. (at least for the core 3) Heck, if you want to offer color differences... there were 3 little books in 74 that used different color titles. Just sayin... ;D

I'd go with one color for the main books, a different color for the add-ons (Alchemical Synergy and Perilous Mazes.) Maybe spot red color for the titles on the referee books.
I was willing to make do with the unillustrated books, but it's nice to hear that you'll be able to change to fully illustrated versions fairly easily. I'll be waiting anxiously!

Mmmm... three books is better than five for actual play but I'm happy to see the illustrated versions. What will happen to those three beginning adventures?

John Adams, you are the man!! Thanks for coming through what I thought I ordered!! :-)
I think all the same color, but do the Delving Deeper logo in different colors on each book. Like how the Dungeons & Dragons logo is in different colors on the OD&D books. :-)

I’ll wait another year if that’s what it takes! (I’m not claiming to speak for anyone else, though!) ;-) Will add the extra books on Friday when I get paid. Can you guys tell I’m happy?

And this is why I love small publishers: they listen to us. Thanks, John! I vote for single color, at least for the main booklets. Can't wait to get the updated pdfs.

I think this is a wise, wise decision John. Well done. I haven't purchased a box set, but will definitely be getting a 6x9 hardback to add to my collection.

This will also cause me to pause and reconsider getting the extra players guides. Previously, being shorter on play-money than I care to be, I figured I could print my own from the downloaded one just as good... now with the addition of art. Nice! Shiny! Must Have!

Great news.
As for the colour of the booklets....I also vote for keeping them all the same colour and good quality white (like the awesome X-Plorers booklets) would be my preference.

New to these boards, but I've been on Dragonsfoot for a while. I bought Whitebox when Brave Halfling put it out, and I also got the Explorers! boxed set. I really like Delving Deeper!
Glad to hear there's going to be art in the booklets! Good call.
