I'm the complete opposite, bestialwarlust. They've already taken my money and I want them to talk.

My boys have been told that the mail this week is my job...and maybe next week until that box is in my hands!

Thanks for you interest in DD guys bestialwarlust, the hard copy boxed sets are being sold by John at BHP. I asked him whether there were any left for sale, and he said he had about one hundred or so boxes left. I imagine you'll be able to get yourself a hard copy over at the BHP website.

Hey bestialwarlust! You have the right page, I just have not added the paypal purchase button to it yet. I have had a great deal of family drama in the last few weeks and it is going to take me a few more days to get everything updated on the website. But do not worry, I still have plenty of Delving Deeper boxed sets.

I'm just pretty excited to get my hands on it so please don't take my enthusiasm as being to pushy. I'll watch for your updates.

Good to know. I missed the S&W White Box you made and this looks just as fantastic.

John, Simon, & Cameron,
The Delving Deeper rules are awesome! My son and I have been pouring over the booklets digging out little gems over the last two days. The system does a great job of rooting itself in OD&D with just the right tweaks to make it new and exciting. (Dragons I'm looking at you, you adorable little trouble makers.)
It as a long time coming but dang it I think you guys nailed it.......

Glad to hear you're enjoying DD Mike, that's great news re: Dragons, that was a real tough one. We have to remember that DD is derived from the SRD, and the SRD dragon is a thousand miles from the OD&D one (check the SRD dragon here). What we arrived at is (in my view) a neat emulation of the original dragon in SRD terms, with just a flutter of DD "decoration" on top.

Just want to say I'm really happy with how DD turned out. Its been a long wait, but it was well worth it. (which, considering the delays, is saying a lot!) Great stuff, and the prose is evocative and reminiscent of the original booklets. I was a big fan of the S&W Whitebox for its crisp simplicity, which got me into the quirky LBBs, and DD is the best of both worlds. It somehow manages to maintain the open, make-it-your-own atmosphere of the originals with clear and solid organization.
I'm tempted to order another boxed set but I think I'll wait for the single volume book. But it's definitely now my favorite retro-clone.
In short, excellent work gentlemen.

Thank you for the kind words. I think the biggest praise should go to Simon (WaysoftheEarth) for his amazing work in whipping the manuscript into shape. The benefit of a good editor cannot be overstated.

Thanks. Cameron did a great created the underlying text and then Simon did a fantastic job editing, tweaking and adding to it. Then the proof-readers did a great job.
I also enjoyed the many months of weighing each issue.

Yes, of course! Kudos to John and BHP, to our amazing Artist Mark Allen, and Austrodavicus and the rest of the proof-readers.

Thanks Strangebrew, it's great to hear that folks are enjoying it. I'm especially pleased to hear that you noted the "prose is ... reminiscent of the original booklets" because I made a real effort over a long period to achieve exactly that! Fantastic Zach and Ethan (Zenopus and Ehiker) should also be credited for their epic proof reading efforts, the value of which can't be understated.
