I don't know what those posts are doing here; sorry. I imagine it is a glitch.

Just a reminder guys, all entries must be emailed to me by 30th of June! I have received a couple of entries so far, but I'm really hoping to see a bit of a run on them before the end of the month

A little over a week to go Delvers. I have received several entries (thanks people!), but not yet the 10 required for a choice from my game shelf... hopefully we'll see a few more come in before the end of the month

C'mon, people! I did my part, but don't have time left to write another...

I try and put together mine - but I am also writing a longer one for a Hungarian competition.

I could only start writing now, but the Hungarian competition enjoys higher priority for me too. The world is small, isn't it?

Maybe we should start randomly generating entries using dungeon generators? Actually, that's a good idea; we can attain the quota that way...

I've got no problem if you guys want to translate your Hungarian adventures into English for DD

I would gladly, but since I've just finished my exams I'm only starting to write it for the hungarian contest. All I have to do is gather my notes and maps and revamp them, so it'll be done by the end of July, but due to work and other everyday "issues" the end of June is impossible at the moment.

Does the submitted adventure need to be playtested? I might be able to finish mine within the deadline but will have no time to actually play it through.

I just sent you my entry. I didn't have time to make it as long as I wanted to (yeah, that's because I started working on it only a couple of days ago), but I hope it still reflects my vision of it.

Entries have closed! I received a total of five adventures; my thanks to the dedicated DD'ers who made time to create and submit their works. As I didn't get the necessary ten entries it looks like my game shelf will survive this one intact. But I've decided to give each of the five entrants a free copy of the DD hardback before it becomes available for general sale. It won't be ready for a while yet, but our five contributors will be among the first to get copies. Congratulations guys, I'll be contacting you individually with the details. In the meanwhile, I'll be making our five DD adventures available for everyone to download. Enjoy Once again, my thanks to the contributors !

Hey WOTE, I'm sorry I didn't submit an adventure. I really wanted to but I'm not used to that and couldn't figure out how to make something short and true to the overall idea I had in mind.
I can give you another adventure once I see how other people did it. Or, I could submit something that is more than 4 pages lol.

Scaling back to four pages was super-hard. Now that the contest is over, I'm half-tempted to expand it back out to twelve pages...

Hi All,
A quick update on the state of these short adventures.
I actually received four entries, not five; one person had submitted theirs twice and I got confused.
All four entrants will get a free copy of the hardback edition of DD as thanks for their efforts, and they'll also be among the "first on Earth" to get them. Depending on exactly how the shipping works out, there is every chance they'll have their copies before I have mine!
It was my intention to reformat the entries into a "standard" DD adventure format, but it turns out that's not quite as straight forward as I had hoped. I also note that most of the entries contain some "non-DD" stats and terms which I was hoping to fix up.
My working plan is finish the DDNext alpha text, and get that out into the wild first.
Then I'll make the four DD adventures available to you shortly after that.
Curse you Real Life indeed!

I've done a few very minor modifications to the submitted DD adventures (adding the license if it was missing, converting "1d6" to "1-6", converting damage to 1-6, etc.) and uploaded them to a file share. That means you can now download all four entries for free! Get them here people (a link to four folders, each folder contains the file(s) for one of the four adventures). Or you can also copy'n'paste the full link: www.mediafire.com/folder/3n4li8dxk275u,6grjwp8dxy0wf,pdg6x3cyv7ivs,i4a3obmt3q0xf/shared (Note that because this URL contains commas Proboards doesn't render the complete URL as clickable, so clicking the linked part of the above URL will take you to the first of four folders only). Note that three of the four adventures are in docx format, and all four are in PDF format as well. Our collective thanks to the authors/contributors. Enjoy!
