Somehow my seminar got dropped from the schedule, but through Luke's attending to that it was added to the the GC scheduled events. Due to the lag, however, there are still more tickets available (the total was 30).
The seminar is 2 hours with the ending part being a Q&A and will cover topics very much related to design, models and the industry/hobby before D&D, as it grew out of the playtests, and now.
Do consider attending. I have suggested that the seminar be taped, as is done at NTRPGCon, but have heard nothing on that end as definite. There will be no transcript.

Yes, as you said, about half a world away. I imagine that AU would be more your destination for conventions and such. At least (by reading up on it) you are not in an impoverished area, but one that is still showing great growth. Very cool.
