Wen would fall in line and scramble up the rubble pile as it becomes clear this is the way out. When Gustave is signaling the others Wen would float his last candle up just beyond the point of the blade, an inverse exclamation point if you will, to help out. "It will be nice to be away from the gloomy place."

"Not ta be the killjoy of the group, but we'd be leavin' a bit light on treasure. And we ain't found any of the nuns' relics neither. I'd like to find that cache the Marrowstone indicated afore we start drinkin'."

We regroup, my friend," Josiane whispers to her favourite dwarf; "It may not be that we retreat - not yet anyway. But to proceed further I think it prudent that we gather all our strength. The evil here is fell indeed."
Desmond frowns and says, "This going to be another one of those trips where we just about die and come back empty-handed? We have rent to pay when we get back, so we'd better make sure and fill our pockets beforehand. Plus, I seem to recall those snarks jackin' the prices of everything up. We have to keep that in mind... or figure out a way to stop it."
Wen would still be on the alert for any signs of movement from the interior of the abbey. Breathing a sigh of relief when finally gathering back with Ulric, Armando and the others.
"A devilish place friends, to be sure. You missed a fierce battle, we by strength of arms Dieter, Dorgan, Desmond and Mondes and Lady Josiane prevailed. There are still black robed priest about Master Ulric, and I am spent, so it is a relief to be with you and Master Highbough again." Wen relates all this with some hand waving and smiles looking rather strange because he is covered in bloody muck and filth.
