"Mother...the thing has a mother...it's gone for its mother. I saw it...I was trapped under the rubble...I saw it kill them. Kill the elders. All dead..."
"And they call me Meat. I'd say the obvious trail is to follow these bloodstains. Sure to be trouble there and that's where we'll find our monster, wherever there's trouble."
"Right! Well, then. Let's see where this leads, shall we?". With that, Meat turns and proceeds cautiously along the corridor, following the trail of blood.
"Better luck? I hope we have...." Poke pulls a few spines free to use as weapons. "We also know something bad is out there. The village didn't." with that Poke concentrates on sensing if whatever did this is near by.
Down the hallway there are six doors in varying states of repair on the left side, and three to your right, the flickering lights of the hall end at the T-junction a space lit only by the green-blue glow of a small pot of glowing mushrooms in its center and the oscilating sign against the facing wall, the fungi are growing around the outside of the pot, whatever it held is long since gone.
The path to the right seems like another hall, the path of the blood going left passes through a large doorway that has clearly been smashed inward, bending the steel doors into wicked blades.

"There' something down there. Something alive, and alien. And something alive and... empty?" Poke gets very nervous and readies his spines for throwing.
Roger, eyes goggling in fear, steps back against the wall at Robert's cry. "They'll hear..." he whispers. Then the badger winks out, leaving the passageway without a trace.
