A fun read, so far. I like the fact that Labyrinth Lords is getting some treatment here (with some S&W) because this all seems very OD&D compatible.
I noticed that you give XP for distance travelled. That's a cool concept. What caused you to choose 6 miles? (Perhaps it's on the page and I missed it. In my mind I'm thinking of a hex map with a 6-miles-to-a-hex scale.)

I've chosen 6 miles because it will be the size of a hex in my sandbox. As for the concept- it's not mine, it's Jeff Rients who got the idea.

Weirdly, the XP for distance travelled predates even antedates Jeff---you'll find it in good 'ol Rolemaster...
