Dram begins binding his wounds, "Does anyone know the Way of Healing?" He is in favor of a short rest and pushing on, in light of their severe time limitation.

"My god has not seen fit to award these powers to me yet," says Vangelis.
"If we are to take a short rest, perhaps it would be better to do so out in the fresh air?"

"Perhaps one of our fallen friends was knowledgeable in the healing arts?" muses Ædelwynn in all innocence; "Permit me to see what I can find to help us." And he descends eagerly on the fallen Firas, searching for that scroll and spellbook...

Aedelwynn pillages the precious spell book and scroll from the body of Firas. He will, of course, need to use a read magic spell in order to comprehend their secrets.
So, is the company going to withdraw to the surface for a rest, rest here, or push on immediately?

OOC: Push on, but we should probably inspect the fountain before we leave the area.

OOC: I think my "move" got skipped but that's ok. I do still want to move the fallen to the base of the stairs as I said. I also think an hour rest for 1hp might be in order. Then push on.... But I' ready to push on now since I'm unhurt.

Mot will awaken the putative charmed kobold from a distance with his 10' pole and speak to it in Kobold (which he knows) to determine if it is the charmed one. He will ask it if it has a safe lair nearby which we can visit.

Mot awakens the slumbering kobold from a distance.
It looks about in some confusion for a moment, bewildered by the strange change in circumstances. It is, perhaps, fortunate that the curling mist covers the bodies of its fallen kin...
[The referee rolls to determine whether Mot judged wisely in identifying the charmed individual; 1d6=6 so Mot's judgement was sound. The referee also rolls to determine whether the Kobold speaks common; 1d100=75, so it does not].
The kobold blinks at Mot, then replies (in the dogeral Kobold tongue) "Mees'ah thinks you shuld be'wares them killas!" indicating the rest of the company. "Per'apps wee'z can gets aways while theys not lookin?!" the scaly little fellow indicates the dark passage from which the kobolds emerged... "tha lair's this way," it urges, "tha big 'uns there will see 'em off!"

"Alas; no healing enchantments," sighs Ædelwynn remorsefully; "But magicks a-plenty of other kinds. I may be able to make more of these later."
He stashes his plunder away in his rucksack and looks at the others expectantly.
"Onward, is it? After you, my frends..."

Dishmab's mail armour might be "useful" to someone also...

OOC: I'm assuming it's dwarf sized and can not be used by an Elf.... If that is NOT the case then Tirandir would certainly put it on. Otherwise i assume Jaras might be able to use it???

Or Dishmab's incoming twin sister...

Very good... Tirandir strips the mail armour off the slain dwarf-woman, and slings the coat of rings over his own shoulders. It is somewhat too broad and too short for him, but he feel safer already.
(please add 50lb to Tirandir's load).

There is also Dishmab's morning star, and the crude clubs and whatnot that belonged to the 14 slain kobolds.
What next gentlemen?

Tirandir would, after all the various other tasks, eventually make his way to the corridor the kobolds came from. Arrow drawn, he would take a long look and listen down the corridor.
Then he looks back and Mot and his new best friend. Gives a small "hmmm" like sigh, and shrugs his shoulders. Tirandir nods at Mot and then points at the kobold and then back at the corridor with his Bow and waits to see if the party is ready.

Jaras continues assisting as needed, lighting a fresh torch as is soon necessary. He stands ready to accompany and assist his taller friends. With the smells of muck and kobold blood in the air, even his appetite is diminished, he'd rather move forward than linger long.

Mot replies to the charmed kobold loudly in its language, "Hold on, I can't follow you in the dark. I am the chieftain of this group of weaklings. They do as I bid and follow me where I travel. Lead the way and I will command them to follow. Let me instruct them now". Mot turns to the party, "The kobold is enchanted and will lead me to its lair, which is guarded by "large fellows". Pretend to be my followers and guards and follow me closely. Someone bring light with us".
Mot will keep his Scroll of Sleep at the ready.

Tirandir would fall in step behind Mot and his little fiend, er I mean friend. Arrow ready of course.

The kobold seems undecided for a moment, then figures it all too complicated for its little brain. It scurries off down the darkened passage with Mot and company in tow.
