Or, since I apparently can't deal with time zones, it's happening right now (1 pm CST)

Here a short summary of the first part: - playtest pack is made of 5 pregen characters (rogue, wizard, fighter, 2 clerics) + Cave of Chaos adventure + Cave of Chaos bestiary + DM rules + Player rules
- pregen characters will have both themes and backgrounds
- classic four races (halfling, human, elf, dwarf)
- one cleric will be classic (mace + armor), the other one will be more mystic
- playtest pack will focus on core rules
- monsters will be shown as a single stat block in the adventure, extended stat block + fluff in the bestiary
- at-will powers will be options
- clerics will have domains
- rogues will have "schemes" (supposedly roguish distinguishing features)
- wizards will have cantrips (at-will useful in and off combat)
- rules are made to give any class the chance to shine
- we already know wizards will cast vancian magic
- they talk about spell point system and power system to mark the difference between sorcere, warlock and wizard
- future options for sub-races
- at-will stuff will come from themes and backgrounds
- fighters will have maneuvers (alternative to feats but each maneuever has more options)
- no Prestige Classes for the moment
Some clarifications: - the Theme option gives access to Skills
- the Background option gives access to Feats
