The keys are pretty good too--definitely worth picking up if they become available.

Perhaps considering Dyson Logo's alternate versions would be a solution.

Yep. I'd love to see this in print (or at least available in some format).

Eager as ever for an update! The last official update from Victor was in February 2016 at blog.tekumelfoundation.org/2016/02/18/new-projects/, so I agree, getting some more current info would be helpful, Victor badger2305 That said... Perhaps considering Dyson Logo's alternate versions would be a solution. ...while Dyson's updates at rpgcharacters.wordpress.com/tag/my-private-jakalla/ don't offer much additional context, I do know some details worth summarizing: 1. The Tekumel Foundation is planning to publish the map, in multiple formats/options. 2. They know that there is some demand for this product, but I don't know if they hear this much from EPT fans directly. Letting them know of your personal interest in the Jakallan Underworld via Facebook at www.facebook.com/tekumelfoundation/ is worthwhile---it's possible they might bump this project up in the queue among many possible projects that they're juggling. 3. They have been talking with publishers and printers about how to best reproduce the maps, since the level 1 map is quite large; for a sense of scale, see my picture of Victor DMing from NTX 2012 (with Jeff Dee and Chris Holmes on the left): Yep. I'd love to see this in print (or at least available in some format). Thankfully, that's definitely part of the Foundation's plans. Allan.

While it is not the "Official" version, for those interested, Dyson is up to map O and it makes me want to start up a game to explore it! rpgcharacters.wordpress.com/maps/my-private-jakalla/ =

This pic of Gronan and Chirine ba Kal with the map of Jakalla's underworld has been floating around for a while, so I figured I'd post it here. If you zoom in you can get see pretty well. Enjoy! Link: imgur.com/a/2aRcZImage at 75%: (Moderator note: fixed img link so picture would display. The link shown on the imgur page wouldn't display here, but by looking at the html source code for the page I found the jpg at i.imgur.com/cKInZrR.jpg ---Zenopus) Edit: thanks Zenopus for fixing the link!

I'm beginning to think maybe a lot of people haven't seen it. It's on Chirine's blog, and I've seen it on G+ a few times as well. After all the hullabaloo when photos of the first level of Greyhawk were posted (and all the analysis that came with it), I was really surprised when no one seemed to react the same way to Prof. Barker's map making its way online.
Of course, as awesome as the map is, it's the contents that makes it truly shine. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the Foundation is able to publish this masterpiece someday!

I didn't get to ask badger2305 about this at GaryCon, alas, due to the usual "too many things to talk about" syndrome. Any updates, Victor? Allan.

In badger2305 's "Welcome to Jakalla" game on Sunday at Gary Con XI, we chose to explore the Jakallan underworld, which he said was Barker's original. Had some neat encounters and were successful in our mission! During the game he indicated that work continues on preparing it for publication.

Is there an update on this? It looks like a massive project so I hope it will not be stuck in limbo forever!

Man, when I was a kid just getting into the hobby, I remember this one game store that I got my first set of dice at (my Holmes set just had chits — hard no, but I still have both the uncut chits sheet, and the dice I bought). On the way home I couldn't figure out WTF with the 4-sider ("Why are there three numbers on each side!") so we turned around and drove back and had the shop owner show me how it worked. He was astoundingly rude, and I'm sure he understood me to be a simpleton. Anyways, it was a small store, and they had the boxed games propped up on shelves on little stands like you'd use for commemorative plates, lol. Forty years later, I still distinctly recall seeing the original EPT boxed set there, plucking it from the shelf to admire the cover art and read whatever was on the back of the box, and then ... putting it back.
Wish I'd thought that through a bit first.
