Hi all, You will find that this is a modified version of the post I recently made at The Comeback Inn. So, my adventure, Tales from the Old Land, has just been RERELEASED. (You will have to register at the CBI to access the file, in part due to legal reasons.) What you might realize pretty quickly when you read through the module is, of course, it wasn't specifically written with d20 in mind, but rather than that, with Mentzer D&D as the rules system, and frankly, I think the adventure lost a bit of its charm with the necessary conversion to d20. Now, this is the deal: While I don't have the time to stat the game for OD&D myself, I will encourage and endorse anybody who wants to do a reconversion, and try to assist wherever I can. If things run well, I am willing to write an extended appendix to the adventure where we can incorporate the stats, and a few further commentaries on how to run this under the Original Dungeons and Dragons ruleset. Heck, I'd even be willing to throw in some extra odds and ends, so we can make this a full fan release for Dragonsfoot, either as a commentary document, or as a full adventure! But real deal is, even though Blackmoor has been popular with fans since the days of the FFC, it's been a while since the setting got any real support under OD&D rules. Let's change that! And while I can't do it alone, probably we can do it together! Yours, Rafe

In case somebody brings the forks and torches after me for using Mentzer D&D, please understand that I am 29 years old. Real OD&D was out of my reach.
The point is, I want to give something to the community. If you could just help me do that, that would be awesome!

It really shouldn't take much to convert to OD&D. PM me.

Yeah. I suspect it would be a quick convert. I can assist if you need.

Cool. Any thoughts on it, already? I had a comverted version of AD&D's Death Knight for OD&D, but I don't seem to be able to find it any more...
