Updates in
greenChanged Background skill from "energy rifle" to "energy pistol"
May I assume that the red and blue updates were correct?
Red updates where correct.
Blue update for DEX, notice that in HE the dexterity bonus is applied to
hit and damage for both melee and ranged attacks.Green updates have two mistakes but we will only correct one, you gave me an idea for a house rule.
A) The
brawler skill only grants the a modifier to hit/to dmg if its is at +1 or above (2 or more purchases). The purpose of Brawler at zero is to loose a -2 penalty to unarmed attack rolls, However it makes little sense that Warrior, traiend for combat would suffer this penalty, and there is no "Brawler" on the Warrior professional skill lists.
So I am ruling that Warrior don't have a -2 penalty on unarmed combat and use the brawler skill as if it was one level above, so your PC will gain the +1 to hit/dmg on unarmed combat with Brawler at 0.
B) You had 11 Class skills but only have 10 entries with Energy Pistol at +1 for two purchases, this combines with Energy Pistol from your Soldier background skill. The value should be +2. The only way a professional skill can start higher than +1 at Level 1 is due to a combination like this.
Onward then...
Now roll 1d20 x 100 for your character's XP (200-2000). A roll of 12 or less means your character is still at 1st level.
If that is the case:
- Roll for Hit Points (re-roll 1's)
- Copy the Saving Throws and modifiers
- Purchase equipment with your CR

- Fill the "weapons in hand" entry with the data including calculated damage and total bonus to hit

- Delete unused entries (mutations, etc)
- Write something on the Background
- (optional) Select and upload an appropriate pic for your PC
If you rolled a 13 or more for XP your PC is at 2nd level, in that case, before doing what is listed above:
- Go to pg. 10 of HE and see if any attribute increases. If so, change the entry and apply the results.
- Roll 1d100. If it is 51 or more buy a new Basic Background Skill or add +1 to one you already have.
- Go to pg. 23 and roll 1d4 + INT modifier. Buy that number of Warrior skills.
New skills must be bought in order, so you would need to buy
Primitive Weapon before
Space Axeman and before Armored Vehicle.
Increasing known skills must start with the lowest ones. To increase one skill to +2, all must be at +1 or more. Unlike new skills they
do not have to be increase in order.
- After this follow the procedure described before as if your PC was level 1.
