Again, short notice, but that's pretty much my middle name...
I'm offering a Carcosan G+ game tonight, from 10pm CST to whenever. If you'd like to play, just PM me, or put in your G+ circles (akesher at gmail dot com) or whatever.
If you'd like to make a character ahead of time, if you don't have Carcosa, just make a 2nd level fighting man with any of the following rules (ODD, S&W, LL, B/X). Don't roll HP. Which means, yup, we're using the crazy dice rules.
We'll be using LL ability score adjustments. The Carcosan Grimoire is a great place from which to get a name (and a sense for the world if you're not familiar with it.
OH, and for visual reference, think Jack Kirby. Google Jack Kirby images and soak it in. Dr. Doom is a Carcosan Sorcerer.
