I've created a web page with Tékumel material in the French language : tromeur.com/tekumel/For the moment, I have : - character sheets for the three EPT classes - a GM screen (3-panel, A4-format, art from tekumel.com) I'm running EPT at a convention tomorrow (and will be running it at Gencon France next month). I may update the material soon. You can have a look and give me your opinion (especially if you read French).

Bonjour, Dagon!
While my French is not of the best, I did take a look at your material and it is very nicely done. I like very much how you've translated the basics of Empire of the Petal Throne, and the character sheets are attractive. I also noticed that you've included clan and lineage on the character sheets, which is something on top of what was in Empire of the Petal Throne - but that is good, because it ought to be there.
Good luck with the game at the convention!
Victor
p.s. if you ever wanted to translate The Book of Ebon Bindings, let me know.

Thanks for your comments !
The character sheets are very basic, but I think everything's here. I had lots of fun translating the spells and skills ; until I worked on the sheet, I wasn't aware we have very cool French names for unusual jobs : "bougenier" for "fletcher", "charron" for "cartwright", etc. You may have noticed that I'm considering the "to hit" bonus for Constitution is a bonus to hit points in my game (it's unclear in the rulebook).
I've already run EPT at conventions, including a game in which most of the gamers were newbies (that is, EPT was their first RPG), and it was very cool !
Later on, I'd like to update my character sheets, to make them more beautiful : art, nice fonts... Does someone have a link to nice (and free) fonts useable for a Tékumel character sheet, especially the fonts already used in Tékumel books ?

How have your convention games worked out? Did people enjoy the world?

How have your convention games worked out? Did people enjoy the world? Yes, they loved it (even if it was a very basic underworld-crawling). I played 2 games of EPT at that convention, and I'll play again on Friday at GenCon France !

The GenCon game was cool too, even if the players were very very unlucky during the first fight (with some biridlu), and I had to shorten the adventure...

Here's another picture, from the Eclipse convention in Rennes (March 2008) : Yes, it's the map from Gardasiyal near the Coke can : it's part of my Tékumel survival kit. On my left, there's a (chocolate) hen with its (chocolate) eggs. Yes, it was during Easter.
