Has anyone ever found a duration for the paralysis attack of this creature in any material?

I usually just go with 1d6 Turns, rolling per each victim.

I wonder if this was still in effect, from Chainmail p. 34:

Wow, interesting idea. Very possible, considering ghoul paralysis in M&T is referenced as, See Wight in CHAINMAIL for effect or something like that.
The habit of carrying over rules by implication that whatever existed before was still enforce, is interesting.

I dunno, but there is an interesting thing about the carrion crawler. In Dave Arneosn's Garbage Pits of Despair he has a monster called a "Carcus Critter" that is just about the same thing as a carrion crawler so it would seem to be his version of the monster. Part of the description says this: "When a successful attack is made with a sucker, the target must roll vs. paralysis. A victim will be slowly reduced to a lifeless pulp at a rate of one level per turn per sucker. Once all the victim’s life levels are gone, the victim will be absorbed through the creature’s mouth. Rather than seek live prey, the carcus critter prefers something that is already dead or of a soft consistency. Upon release, the paralysis will wear off in one turn. The victim must make a saving throw vs. poison. The poison is very low level and it will take several days to die. The victim will lose one level a day while infected. These levels can be regained by a Healing spell or through the natural healing process. ..."
YMMV
