Um... I bought the PDF on the GameSalute site but there's no link to download the PDF.
You'd think this would be an automated process...

sulldawga, email me at tavis@autarch.co if you haven't gotten it yet! You can also call or email Game Salute; their great customer service is one of the reasons we went with them as our sales & fulfillment partner. An automated download process is in the works, but it hasn't been part of their standard kit because we're one of Game Salute's first RPG clients and I guess their other board game publishers haven't been using PDF to deliver replacement rulebooks or whatever.
Glad you're digging it, hogscape! If anyone is running a game or planning to and is open to new players, I'd love to hook you up with others in your area.

Still haven't gotten it yet but I'm cool with waiting until tomorrow.
Just got a little worked up because I wanted to read it right away! Looking forward to digging in...

I went to buy the PDF recently too, but was a bit frustrated to find that;
a) GameSalute doesn't support Paypal or similar (i.e., you have to give them your credit card details which is generally not considered to be "a wise thing" to do over the internet),
b) the "Checkout" button on DriveThruRPG's website cannot be clicked no matter what you do.
I guess I'll go back and see if DriveThru have fixed it up one of these days...

Waysof... I had the 'no click' problem with DriveThru and RPGNOW yesterday. Seems to work fine today though... Strange...

I agree with Ways that a PayPal option would have been much preferred. It has the added advantage to me of letting me hide my gaming purchases more easily from my wife!
Not that happy with GameSalute in general (it took them 12 hours to email me the link to my PDF) but I sure can't wait to get home and start reading.

I'll be talking to Game Salute today as part of the ongoing efforts to sort out the PDF download process, and will see if they can add PayPal - although I thought BitCoin was the preferred wife-hiding technology these days!

Hey Tavis,
Now that the Players Companion Kickstarter was successful, what's the next publication on the list?
I'm curious to know when the Auran Gazetteer will be coming out.

Here's a brief rundown:
1. The Player's Companion is finishing its development cycle - all the new classes and races are done, the class creation guidelines are done, we're now trying out Alex's brilliant guidelines for creating new spells. It will be ready for in PDF for backers in June, with general sale PDFs a little later and print available in stores about 2 months after that.
2. The Dwimmermount mega-dungeon, ACKS version. The PDF seems likely to be ready in late summer/early fall, with print available 2-3 months later.
3. At the Autarch forums Alex says the Auran Empire setting will be due either Christmas 2012 or next year, and:
4. Domains at War. "This is close to complete. I would expect this around the same time as Dwimmermount."
Those are the major releases but I also have some projects cooking which may be just short PDFs at first.

Bah. I want the Campaign Setting earlier!
Oh well. I guess patience is a virtue... or something. Thanks for the update.
