Whatever you guys can come up with is great and appreciated, as always. Our authors and artists ARE the magazine. Fight on!
- An Adventuring Centaur
-Playing cards with PC-looking images on them, fanned out in a hand or loose on the table
- A “Planet of the Apes” style city with an ape general and scientist
-Crocodilian warriors
- An ‘infected tower’ (biomorphic stone architecture, anyone?)
- A half-man, half-machine magus
- A banshee
- A beholder, or: a cavern network side view, with a beholder down deep, and various gas spores floating around the upper caverns; possibly, with adventurers attacking one of the gas spores on an upper level and getting blown up, etc.
- An image of a vast underground cavern network, sort of like the Vault of the Drow (no drow in this one though, but that kind of scope)
- A magical battle between two necromancers, one toad-faced and vaguely demonic with a troll flesh golem and flying severed heads, the other tall and clad in bearskin with tattoos and served by a giant undead cave bear and spectral ravens
- An underground temple, something like a lighthouse crossed with the tower of babel, covered in thorny vines of bone.
- Adventurers falling through an ethereal floor trap with an idol visible in the background
- A dark troll patrol hassling a party on the Trade Road....or maybe a strange underworld caravan.
- A ‘Bazaar of the Bizarre’, run by strange aliens in a weird underground locale
- An underground cathedral of bone, with a charnel ooze and perhaps weird supplicants standing before it
- A spell (perhaps with a mage casting it) that binds the target's wrists with manacles of brilliant blue-gold flame.
- A witch doctor (or tableau including such)
- Food being magically created
- Halfling thieves conversing in the shadows (for a ‘thieves’ cant’ type article)
- A group of three three-eyed, eight-legged panthers
- An eight foot tall robot with a big head, scaly exterior, reptile claw on one arm and machine gun on the other
- A reptilian space barbarian with reflective armor and a chainsword
- An underground lava river with a whirlpool up ahead, adventurers on a boat fighting hard-armored stalactite-serpents attacking down from the ceiling
- Several totally classic, intro D&D/RPG type pictures: PCs doing their thing, monsters in the wilderness, map exploration, etc. Open imagination on these.
