When working up adventures, locales or wandering monster tables I like to look at a list of monsters sorted by climate and terrain, like the tables in Appendix C of the 1e DMG.
Does anyone know of some tables like those that include at least mm1, mm2 and the Fiend Folio? Better yet, something that includes everything from the 2e monstrous manuals and addons. Either the original book with the tables in it, or some online resource.
Also, has anyone attempted something like this for the original monsters the osr comes up with?

The 0e Monstrous Compendium on the Swords & Wizardry site I think fills the bill exactly.

Makofan is right. Rolemaster monster books did this well also, but that game is a whole different monster...
The wilderness encounter tables in the back of OSRIC are pretty fantastic also, and the monster selection draws from all the 1e tomes you've mentioned above.

The OSRIC wandering monster tables might be good, too. The PDF is a free download.
