I have the TSR boardgame Warlocks & Warriors which is the D&D-like version of Candyland. I'm just wondering how rare it is.

I had a copy years ago and honestly don't remember much about it. (I suppose that says something about the game.....)
They pop up on e-bay occasionally. I don't think they sell that high, but I can't recall any specific prices.

Troll & Toad wants to sell one for $32 plus S&H, if that helps.

If you don't want it... No it's more of a "how careful should I be with it when playing with it with my kids" question.

I don't believe W&W is all that valuable, although it's not especially common. I get the impression TSR didn't print it in large quantities, unlike some of their other boardgames.

No it's more of a "how careful should I be with it when playing with it with my kids" question. Well, there's always laminating. Not the game; that would ruin it. I mean laminate your kids! Just kidding, of course. I seem to recall playing games when I was a child and not actually ruining them. And since your kids have gamer genes (tm), they should do okay.

You could try poking around Boardgamegeek.com to see how rare it is.
