Not sure where to put this thread, please forgive me if this is the wrong location. I found a nice Roleplaying City Map Generator that is Freeware at: www.drachenzahn.de/city_map_generator/index.htmlIt does a great job of randomly generating anything from a small town to a large city (Medieval to Modern). I've played with it for the past half hour and think that it'll take some of the work out of creating a village for me. Between this and using Tablesmith to "stock" the village I bet I can whip up a village for a session in less than three minutes!

This is a truly awesome program for those of us who are urban map junkies. The control over parameters includes things you might expect like buildings, streets and rivers, but it also includes how complete the walls are, parks and lakes, trees and so forth.
You can literally have maps of villages and towns for a session or six in a matter of minutes.
Of course you would still need to fill in locations...
but that is so much easier than drawing the maps. ;D
