Since we are encouraged to post "third party OD&D" stuff in the "Other Topics" section, I thought I would drop one in to see if anyone had any interest.
I vaguely recall "Wee Warriors" as a game company from the 1970's, but don't think that they did that much stuff. I find it interesting to see that their Palace of the Vampire Queen has so much value on e-bay.
You see, I owned a copy of The Dwarven Glory and don't at all remember being impressed. It was a bunch of type-written sheets of paper hastily xeroxed and stuck into a ziploc bag. I seem to remember that the pages were "geomorphic" in that they could be arranged in many different orders, except that the dungeon was linear with only one way in and one way out for each page. The one really memorable part of the whole adventure was the fact that one of the treasures contained a case of "Dwarf Ripple Wine", which I thought was hillarious when I was a teenager in the 1970's.
Anyone else own (or have seen) these modules? What did you think about them and do you think that their value is over-rated on the internet?

By the way, I checked out a Wee Warrior link on wikipedia and they list more products than I remembered.

I never owned any of their stuff (and likely never will). "The Character Archaic" is actually included in the list of "Other TSR Products" in back of my OD&D set (5th printing). In the late 80s at GenCon I went to a series of seminars by John Wheeler and Peter Rice (aka "The Companions") about adventure/dungeon design wherein they discussed "Palace of the Vampire Queen" (PVQ, as they called it) at some length, declaring it simultaneously the best and worst module ever published -- the worst because as published it was lame, just a bunch of rooms and nonsensical monsters, the best because it inspired them to come up with all kinds of plots, explanations, expansions, justifications, etc. -- sort of like OD&D as a whole.

I just posted this:
But then I saw this thread and deleted it. So there you have it, sounds like the adventures were kinda lame as you'd expect.

As the first published module, it clearly has high collector value no matter the actual game value.
I think it would be cool if someone could secure rights to post it electronically (perhaps re-typesetting the text so that there is no mistaking a printed PDF for the original).

Sounds like a neat idea for a forum project.

Battles of the Cosmic Frogs (Available when you least expect it) Clearly a lost opportunity. And to think that in an alternate timeline, this module could have became the de facto industry standard. Yeah...

Yeah... Between Battles of the Cosmic Frogs and Temple of the Frog (Blackmoor) , Frogs could have become the standard for D&D monsters, too.

Sorry to bump this topic up, but I'm on a mission to get my hands on a legal digital copy of this module. I've even started a Facebook group. Palace of the Vampire Queen Facebook Group: www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=117622398273703

If I was you, the first thing I would do is try to track down the authors.

Yeah, I've been trying to locate both Pete and Judy Kerestan. My Google-fu is strong, but haven't had any luck finding them so far. I started the Facebook group hoping to gain the attention of the current copyright holders or someone who is in contact with them.
I'd be more than willing to pay for a digital copy of the module and I'm sure there are plenty of others who feel the same.
