As far as dungeons go (I'm omitting Death Love Doom, even though it is arguably a dungeon adventure): Death Frost Doom, Hammers of the God, The Grinding Gear. Probably more, but that's what I can think of off the top of my head.

It is a shame we can't study Barker's minimally keyed gigantic dungeons as it sounds like he could have given rise to a different school of thought on their design. Well-worth checking out if you can peruse them at a con!---Victor Raymond brings them to GaryCon and North TX RPG Con regularly. I doubt I'll ever make it to a US Con. We really need to get some scans of Barker's maps online for the edification of all !

Gygax, Jaquays, Kuntz... they were all breaking new ground, doing good, neat stuff when there were no roadmaps.

The best adventures are designed when there are no roadmaps or "go to" formulas.
Thanks for the nod, Chainsaw.

I'll be speaking with Grodog at Garycon about the reprints and handing him the printer files for 3 products at that time. Just an update for you "object worshippers" out there...

Gary Gygax seems to have perfected the craft of Dungeon Design Dave Arneson didn't get too many of his dungeons published, but he should get props for the following: - Designing dungeons before D&D.
- Thematically strong dungeons: Temple of the Frog (frog-stuff), City of the Gods (Science Fantasy), Castle Blackmoor (Classic Dungeon/Haunted Castle), Glendower (mini-dungeon)
- Creativity: space ships, huge ceramic frogs!
I would also like to nominate Colin McComb for Dragon Mountain. Oh and where can I read more about Barker's Dungeon? -Havard
