Princess of Mars is on SyFy RIGHT NOW!!!!
It's so horrible but I can't look away.
As an aside, Traci Lords does not look very incomparable as Dejah Thoris. If anything, she looks kinda long in the tooth to be a princess.

Hm, in other words, she is “comparable”?

Actually, she may be incomparable. Just not in the way that ERB meant.

I haven't seen it, but like watching a train wreck I may have to pursue it against my better judgement.
And Traci Lords isn't at all my concept of Dejah Thoris, no whether it's a young or old Traci Lords.

I like how Mars in the movie orbits Alpha Centauri.

A serious question: how does Asylum make money? I hear about their movies a lot, but the discussion is always making fun of them. They don't seem to have any fans.

I wouldn't know an Asylum film if it came up to me and kicked me in the shins but I suspect that their films may be so bad they're good. Kinda like Plan 9 From Outer Space or Robot Monster.

... If you like cheezy flicks Asylum is usually better then anything you get from Scyfy, or other sources. They are the cheesie ScyFy channel movies, some of them at least. It takes some chutzpah and a little talent to whip out the movies they do. This month's release "Titanic 2"
