As a Gygaxian growing up, it has been boards like this that have led to my appreciation for Dave Arneson. Thanks to all who have illuminated his work!

As a Gygaxian growing up, it has been boards like this that have led to my appreciation for Dave Arneson. Thanks to all who have illuminated his work! I think that Dave and Gary each contributed great things, but the combination was better than either one individually. Many still argue over who did what exactly, but collaboration and exchange of ideas can't really be attribued to any one individual. Dave's game was so different from Gary's in many ways, and it's a shame that so few people have gotten to experience things his way. Both are missed quite a bit. |
