Just posted a new blog entry reviewing the geography of the Hyborian/Thurian Age as outlined by Dale Rippke. In short: I very much disagree with Rippke's ideas, and think they have a major flaw that d**ns the whole theory. You can read here if you're interested: grey-elf.blogspot.com/

I responded over there, but not so much on the theme of your essay as much as just a question about what parts of Solomon Kane don't match REH's other writings.
I'd have to go back to study the geography more before I could intelligently respond to the essay, but it was an intriguing read. :-)

Hah! Please! Not as though you'll lose people from here, but I'd love to have the readers over there as well.

Wow! Dale Rippke actually showed up at my blog to correct some mistaken impressions upon which I based my entry. I'm rather flattered by that.
