Hello Again! I wanted to announce that I already began to work on my second project, that is, to translate the Core Rules to spanish, as a way to improve accessibility and broaden the audience for the game. Right now I'm moving forward at a steady rate of 10 pages a week (aprox.), so I'll be done around Xmas I'll start a weekly campaign with two non-bilingual spanish speaking players, so i can get unbiased feedback about the quality of the translated text, sadly I don't got access to spanish speaking gamers from other parts of South America or Europe so I can test if I did not include slang without noticing it (I'm trying to reach Dungeon Masters in Argentina to fix this). So if there are any English/Spanish bilingual gamers out there that would like to playtest, translate or proof-read, I would be more than grateful. (If we can put together a team of 5 people we could do it in about 4 weeks) Also i would like to make an open call to start other translation projects, so we can have the Core Rules in as much languages as we can. Happy Gaming!

THANKYOU! We have a young guy in our group who is hispanic and speaks excellent english, but for him and others like him, some of the more technical terminology does not easily translate. Getting this product out there will bring a whole new audience into the game.

As I mentioned on the S&W forum, the wife is from Madrid and speaks fluent English and Spanish(which is good, because I only speak English, French and Japanese) and will help out.

[Foreign Language/] Sorry people, just wanted to offer my help to Trauco in my own language.

This is very exciting. Wish I could speak Spanish (or French or Italian, for that matter).

Indeed it is! Since OD&D was never released in a spanish (if I remember correctly, the earliest version of D&D released in our language was Advanced 2e), the roots of the game are unknown to most of south american and spanish gamers nowadays, and thats a shame! A spanish version of S&W would help a lot to show another way of playing to a lot of people, and I would be really proud to be responsible for that!

Hello people,
I'm new here, but not in the gaming enviroment. I'm really interested in these project... I'm spanish and even if I usually read some books in english, it would be much easier to have them in my mother language.
But I've got just a question: In which kind of spanish are you translating it? I mean... if you're an american who has learnt spanish from people of sudamerica... well, it'd be pretty different than the books we have here in Spain.
