I just sent off the two comp copies I owed. The 30 for sale are a little over half complete--i.e. I have about 17 done--which means I'll be opening up sales pretty soon. First I'm going to e-mail the pre-order list and once those orders are filled I will open up regular sales via message board announcements. That seems fair.
In addition, we are holding a contest. One of the boxed sets has character sheets with green (actually more tennis-ball yellow) logos instead of red. If you get that boxed set and e-mail me the number of your box, you'll win a free hard and PDF copy of Return to the Caverns of the Vampire Queen, our first adventure module, upon its release.
Now down to the nitty gritty.
Shipping costs are going to be $7.00 to the Continental U.S. This includes packaging materials (i.e. boxes). Overseas shipping (I had someone from England interested, though I forget who) is going to cost about $13.00 U.S., plus insurance if you want it (and I'd recommend it). Insurance will probably be an extra buck or two.

(I had someone from England interested, though I forget who) ... and don't forget "someone from Germany". ;D

d**n, I did forget Germany. I'll double-check that, though I think overseas is overseas, so far as costs go.

Would recommend boxing and a bit of padding, though, so that's likely to be over $13. Absolutely no problem here, Jason. USPS 1st class airmail cannot be insured according to the book although I've known a few people who've managed to get that added nonetheless! Thanks for the update, Jason, and looking forward to that... David.

[EDIT] Your link directs to flat-rate shipping, which I'm not using as it's always more expensive than having the stuff weighed. The $13 to England was including boxing and packaging.[/EDIT] Holy crap. I just finished putting a spreadsheet together for potential customers, and I didn't realize how much interest from overseas and across the border we had! Several Brits, a couple Canucks, and at least two from Germany (is there even a non-offensive colloquial term for German people?)! Geez, we've really hit the whole western world . I'll double-check on international shipping for Canada and Germany as well, just so we can be on the level with everyone.

Wow, I'm glad to see that it's finally good to go.
A few questions:
Firstly, what is the address to send payment to?
Secondly, how much is the game itself (other than the shiping costs)?
Please let us all know when you plan to get ready with your regular sales, as I definitely plan to pick up a copy.

It's not quite good to go, yet. I want to finish assembling the boxes, which should happen this week. Then I have to take care of my pre-order people.

Okay, my pre-order customers will be getting e-mails as soon as the shipping materials (boxes and packing peanuts) arrive.
First Class Mail International Package to Canada, according to USPS.com, is $8.95. Adding $2.00 for the box and packing materials, you're looking at roughly $11.00 for shipping to Canada.
To Germany it looks like $16.90, which would come out to roughly $18.90 after packing materials are factored in.
Those are the cheapest rates, at an estimated 2-lb shipping weight.
These are also in U.S. dollars. I'll double-check the figures at the actual post-office, though.

Thanks for your patience, folks--this was a grueling task, putting these together. I'm also sorry to say for those who didn't pre-order that it looks like we're sold out (unless some of the pre-orders change their minds). I'll keep you all posted. I'm looking into options to do a larger "unlimited" run but right now it's not looking financially feasible.
For those who did order: don't forget about the contest, too! Look to see if you have the yellow-green logoed character sheets.

Yep. As I said, please give 2-3 weeks. Takes time to transfer shipping costs from Paypal to my bank account, then with packaging, shipping, etc...and for those in Europe, it might take longer.

Any Chance we could get a comfirmation email confirming you got our order? I ordered mine on the 6th, with an inquiry about adding tracking to the order, but I haven't gotten a reply.

I got it, Bluskreem.
All orders are getting delivery confirmation.
Bear with me; it's going to take a couple weeks to get these all out the door. First I have to wait for the Paypal to transfer to my bank account, which takes 3-5 business days. Then I get to the post office. Also have to do it in small batches or the local P.O. will hate me. Heh.
The first 7 sets just went out today. I'm hoping to get the rest out over the next week or so.
I grossly underestimated international shipping charges...at least to Canada...but I'm not going to ask for more cash from you guys--it was my error so I'll take the hit.

I used to have the same problem, but I got a paypal debit card. It is essentially a pre-paid credit card (with no credit) that lets you use your paypal account $. The USPS just raised international shipping rates a few days ago. The same digest modules I used to send to Europe for $1.70 now cost $2.70! So I've taken a hit as well.

Oh, I should also clarify: International orders will not have delivery confirmation, as the USPS won't offer it...but International orders are getting insurance.
