Trinesh tracked him, using a clairavoyance spell, to Portugal, at a temp job. We are guessing that he just doen't have Internet access. I'm betting he is hating that part of his life. =

If people don't like observers posting in the OCC thread, I would like to suggest a kibitzers thread. I am betting there are others lurking, observing your progress. I, for one, don't mind folks looking over my shoulder (I am minded on more cons than I can count) and welcome commentary. And suggestions. But this is one "...continued in next week's chapter" that is getting a bit long in the tooth.

So long as there is a break and this is OCC, I would like to say I have been following along, and I am enjoying this. I am surprised, because I didn't think Play by post had any potential, because I assumed the action would be too slow. BTW, this is all my fault. Every PBP/PBM game -- board or RPG -- I've ever been in has crashed at about this stage. ;D

Edsan is in another PBEM game I run and hasn't appeared there in weeks either. Oh well, it happens.

On Wednesday it will have been a month since Edsan last posted in the game. Do we know that he is all right? He didn't mention anything about going on hiatus.

I checked his profile on this site and he was online yesterday before noon, but has not pposted anywhere on this site sibce 4/22. I assume he does not have regular internet access, but I am disappointed that he has not posted a brief note he would be putting things on hold for a while.

So, I'll say it. When is the game dead? If we knew that Edsan wouldn't be able to game for a month or longer, that would be one thing....

I consider it dead for now, but I'm watching and waiting for it to pick up and I'll pick it up again. It seems that this Portuguese job is temporary, but I'm surprised we haven't heard something.

No updates on his site. I just keep worrying that something happened to him. I mean, I have never had that happen but have heard of people railing on someone for not responding only to find that they were in the hospital or worse.
Yes, I am morbid.

Well, I do agree with you. But I don't think there's much else we can do. I just plan to keep checking in at his site, and watching out for him here.

I consider it dead for now That was my thinking. Ouch. Shuffled off to the land of inactive games.... If it comes back to life, I'll be glad to shuffle it back.

*** Wednesday, 26 August 2009 Yes once again Edsan stirs his shambling carcass away from near net-death. Life's not all bad but it ain't all good either. While now I have a modest laptop and a net connection the latter is so unreliable it prevents me from any net commitments aside from...well reading other folk's blog really as weekly failures lasting as long as a day are commonplace. This led to the abandonment of the online games I was playing/running....hmm, sorry about that, I'll have to wander into the actual sites and present proper excuses latter. *** jakalla.blogspot.com/***
