Image: An example of the Tsol'yani Script. I believe the Tsol'yani language primer is still available as a PDF at Drive thru. I really wish they would make this book available in print again.
Some of you have skills in Language; please choose here for your character languages if you do and I will update it on the character roster.
Those of you with no Language skills speak an outlander tongue influence by trade, invasion and older languages. You are assumed to have a very rough lexicon of Tsol'yani words and phrases in the mix and you can crudely communicate with speakers of that language for now but you do run the risk of making errors and accidentally insulting or offending Tsol'yani speakers so it may be best to wait until you learn the language (a vital and worthy goal of any aspiring newcomer to the Imperium) to heavily engage in conversation. You speak a jungle dialect of the Southern Continent, not completely unknown to the more travelled or learned of the Empire so on occasion you might find a soldier or mariner who understands you better than the average citizen.
