Not sure whether this is official or not, so I'm posting it here rather than on the main board. As you all know, Holmes was a big Pellucidar fan. I came across this book just after pressing the button on my annual Black Friday Lulu order, unfortunately, so it'll have to wait until next time. The description reads:

Did the book arrive yet? If so, any good?

Did the book arrive yet? If so, any good? Yes, and yes! And I actually got around to reading it thanks to our old friend covid. I'll post more details later when I have the book in front of me, but here's a brief overview. There are synopses of all the novels, which is great because it's been about 10 years since I read them. This includes Holmes's 'Red Axe' books which I don't have yet. There is what looks to me like an exhaustive bibliography of everything printed including the comics and magazine articles. There is an overview of Pellucidar and how it 'works', such as the weird effects of timelessness (a.k.a. a great device if you want to do a side adventure for one character without bothering about downtime for the rest of the party!) There are descriptions of all the peoples of Pellucidar and the major characters. There are descriptions of all the animals of Pellucidar. There is, of course, a Pellucidarian glossary. The book is simply laid out, with a little interior art of decent quality by old school standards. More creature pics would have been nice. The writing is clear & concise, I normally struggle to maintain interest in book summaries but this was an easy read for me even in a somewhat drugged state. I would definitely recommend it to any Holmes fans or Pellucidar afficionadoes. I wonder if there are books of the sort for Mars and Venus.

By the way, I think this solidly falls into fair use. It mostly reprints stuff that was already published online, with permission, so it would be nice if a kindly admin could move it into one of the main boards - Holmes, perhaps?
