Yeah - I've been following that and a lot of the JG items from seller (including FFC and a nice Tegel Manor).

It's the SF18-R printing, according to the cover. That appears to be a first printing; the product list in the back doesn't even list Swords and Spells.
I'd say it's a real find, but I'm buying a house and already have a pdf, so I won't be bidding.

I've seen copies go for $80.00 US, so $51.00 US seems like a reasonable price by comparison.

I had been following this other one, actually. Went for $50.00, which was less than a few others that sold this past week. cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&item=370114662750What I really wanted was Arneson's FFC (from the same seller, and apparently from the same awesome estate that lots of nice old JG stuff was acquired). I got sniped and lost in under 1 minute by a buck for FFC, though. Ah well. Same seller had Wilderlands, City-State, Tegel Manor and a number of fairly rare, near mint 1st printings along those lines. I was surprised how many MA's popped up this past week. |
