I hope the photos weren't too blurry. I was experimenting with using different angles and lighting, and I used two different cameras, including my phone. I'll probably have to use the crop feature more than the zoom feature, which I used a lot for this set.

Fredegar is adorable! I love him. Thanks. The miniature is a converted HeroClix miniature. It represents Frodo, although it's listed as "Ringbearer." I removed the figure from the HeroClix base and mounted it on a piece of plastic cut with a 1" hole puncher. I should have used a base with more thickness, but I was experimenting. While I was filing the bottom of the feet, one of those feet broke off, and I had to reattach it. I will scan and post the character sheets soon.

I'm also experimenting with using paintings and newspaper clippings as backgrounds for my miniature photography. I made the watercolor painting in the photo. flic.kr/p/2mjhkBh

Love the watercolor! The hand drawn background reminds me (in a good way) of the Rankin-Bass Hobbit movie.

Thanks! I will try to get a photo of the original online. My scanner is not doing a good job with the image, so I'll have to use my camera instead.

I often recorded my adventures using a top-down view. I am trying to change to a first person view, although I'm playing with using different angles for dramatic effect. I got the idea from The DMGinfo, who uses a webcam for online gaming. www.youtube.com/watch?v=yMqb0wrTqL0I'm not using a webcam, just a digital camera. But I can adapt his method to suit my needs.
