I just finished (mostly) my update of my Character's Companion. It took me a couple of months and I had to learn Visual C# to do it!
I am now tackling the conversion of the Dungeon Generator by Janis to Edition 1 (I only really like 1e so I have pretty well stunted my growth!) One thing I could REALLY use is a spreadsheet of the monsters from MM2 and FF with the stats to include the Treasure Type. I found on the Yahoo group the MM1 (minus the Treasure Type.. would love to get my hands on someone's spreasheet with TT as well!)
BTW.. just to do a little tooting of my horn:
The Character's Companion (just posted on the Yahoo Group) does the following:
-Complete Character Generation of all races and classes from UA and PB to include:
-Magic Items, Basic Items, Spell Materials (from Dragon Magazine) Spell Books, Spell Memorization, & Scrolls
-Attack Tables and Armor Class (even for Magic stuff)
-Printouts of these things as well.
What doesn't work quite right:
-Learning new languages... (I forgot about it until just now LOL!)
-It takes several Pages to really printout all features due to the way C# handles stuff
-I have some Basic items from Edition 2 in it for some reason
I cant remember why I did that from nearly 20 years ago when I first published it ... so I left it!
-The pictures are from the PB and UA until they get better ones.. they are really only place holders and due to this being a pre-release I don't mean to stomp on anyone's copyright toes so please ignore them!
I am always seeking to add new things, such as classes, items, spells etc..
