So we know with D&D there are plenty of things like Drow, Dweomer, Geoff, Bullette, Acererak, etc., that people pronounce in various ways (some of them incorrectly according to Gary , et al).
One thing I hear on youtube when people are discussing RQ is some people pronouncing "Pavis" as PAH-vis (short A as in "Cat"). We grew up hearing it from somewhere (and I still say it to this day) as PAY-vis (long A). I never heard Greg, Steve, etc discuss it (in voice). What is the correct pronunciation?
Are there any other common RQ-isms that people pronounce differently you can think of? Sarter/Sar Tar, Ooze/Yooz/Uz?

I always pronounced it PAH-vis, and I think recently someone at Chaosium pronounced it that way in a video, so I feel somewhat vindicated.
That's the only one I've ever heard any of my players pronounce differently from how I pronounce things.
