And why we don't get more licensed Andre Norton stuff... Andre Norton was one of my favorite authors when I was at that "tween" age where many of us become addicted to reading. The first book I recall was Starman's Son and I loved it! Which might explain why I liked Gamma World and the post-apoc genre in general. Ok, maybe The Road Warrior was largely to blame for that too. So I was poking around wondering why Witch World hadn't been picked up for a mini-series yet when so many other much more mediocre fantasy is being turned into bingeable streaming series. And found out that when she passed her Will was intended to spread her estate to her family in friends, instead it caused chaos and threw all the rights to her stories into limbo. Of all her books, and she was so very prolific, Witch World is the one that seems the most adaptable into movies and games. So it seems the only product we'll see is GURPS Witch World, which I don't have and haven't read, but now I'm thinking about tracking down a copy.

A long-time favorite author. A Witch World source book, preferably for the OSR, would be wonderful.

I finally got a copy of GURPS Witch World, and as you'd expect it is very well done. Like most of the GURPS sourcebooks are. I don't have time to run a campaign, but it is fun to read and think about it.
