I’m not a mini guy...so... This was my very first. I grabbed it out of a used bin at the old Sword of the Phoenix shop in Atlanta in 1986. I kept up with it until a handful of years ago when it got lost in the shuffle somewhere (I’m not the type of person who loses stuff so it’s pretty irritating,) It was perfect at the time I found it as my first character was a fighter who started with chain and quickly upgraded to plate...yep...my fighter with a strength of 9. Heh. 🙂 Anyway. I’ve been looking for it for a while recently but I’ve zero idea how to narrow my search, etc. Perhaps the eBay link is correct that it’s early Citadel...I’ve no idea. BTW that "Citadel Compendium" PDF is pure gold, including thumbnail sketches of basically every miniature, ripe for cutting and pasting into your zines!

Okay, so it is Citadel after all.
So I need to zero in on C01p-01 and/or FA-10.

Heh. Oddly enough... when I painted mine (as even when I was young I already had an odd affinity for 70s stuff, I guess due to 70s decorations, furniture, etc being in my home when I was really, really little in the late 70s) I made his cape an autumn orange color, and also painted the elbow and knee pieces a bronze color as one of the pics showed painted gold. How about that?
I also always dug how his kinda short, chunky broadsword reminded me of Gary Chalk art in a way.

Huh. Different weapons. One iteration of the figure is not holding a sword, but rather a mace.
Edit. Whoa. And yet another wields the sword but has an open-faced helm and a shield hanging at his side rather than the ax mine had. Wild.

Hmm, some clarification is needed I think. C01p-01 is the one I have (sword, shield, plumed helmet).
FA-10 aka C01p-03 appears to be your helmed miniature, with sword.
C01p-05 looks like the same miniature as C01p-03, but with a mace. From your ebay link I can't really tell which weapon he's holding, but I think you're looking for either 03 or 05.

Indeed. Mine was: full face helm, sword, ax at side.
Exactly as shown in your second link in your first post here seemingly shows.

I miss being able to buy miniatures for 75 cents each. I also preferred it when the bases were attached. I've always hated slotta bases.
