No, not the "harpers" faction but a girl named Harper who was diagnosed with leukemia a year and a half ago. Harper and her father co-wrote a 5E adventure and funded it through Indiegogo (which I guess is like kickstart). I totally missed out on the project when it was live, but a local game store (Games Plus in Mt Prospect IL) had some copies for sale and I bought one. Price was $40. (I had a link to the Indiegogo site, but they wouldn't let me link. You can google "Harper's Tale" or check out the DriveThru link later in the post if you want to see more about this product.)It seems like a fun little book, with ten little adventures linked together to form (I think) a single plot arc. Money from the sales also goes to "Friends of Kids with Cancer" because Harper wanted to give back to folks who helped her. Her story is that when a kid is diagnosed with cancer this "Friends" group gives the child a gift card that they can spend on anything they want. She wanted to give back to the organization, and that in part inspired the book. I haven't looked through it in great detail yet, but it seems sort of like a fairy tale storyline much like a kid would dream up. I decided to throw in another $15 and buy the PDF through DriveThru. Hey, it's a good cause. Right? www.drivethrurpg.com/product/311843/Harpers-Tale-A-Forest-Adventure-Path-for-5eAnyway, I thought that the world has been crapified with all sorts of health and social and political issues, and this was sort-of a feel good story so I figured it would be a good thing to share with my fellow gamers. On the DriveThru link you can buy a print+PDF combo a lot cheaper than what I paid.
